Cata-Gory (July’s Monthly Puzzle)

This month’s puzzle is brought to you by Matthew Gilman. He created this last year, but I stopped working on the site, so it has sat in my inbox collecting dust. I finally printed it out last month and got to work at trying to solve it. I really enjoyed it, struggled some, and didn’t completely solve it. It is definitely up to Matthew’s standard level of difficulty 🙂

Star Crossed

Use the five crossword style clues to find five people of note. They could be actors, authors, athletes, historical figures, etc.. It could be first name first, then last name or in reverse order. The resulting answer may need to be adjusted to match a real name as the clues may only lead to a phonetically correct answer or one slightly misspelled or shortened.

Example 1: Steal again? A: Rob Moore
Example 2: Additional Lowe footage? A: Moore, Rob

Each answer will be worth 2 points

This week’s Thursday puzzle is Initial Diagnosis. The four answers are represented in initial form below. The theme is “Slogans”. Figure out these famous slogans from companies. I will not be filling in the articles, conjunctions, prepositions (i.e.  “the” “in” “to” “from”) etc. You’ll have to guess those parts too.
